Ashbourne Kennels and Grooming is a fully licensed and government approved boarding kennel, we offer owners a personal service to take the very best care of their dogs whilst they are away. We are a small quiet kennel, set in lovely peaceful countryside where the dogs enjoy plenty of country walks. The kennels are all indoors and fully heated as needed, we also have a fully enclosed outdoor exercise area for extra fun when the weather is good. I returned to live in Northern Ireland with my husband David  and our family  of rescued lurchers and greyhounds after several years of working in Sussex.  I am a country person with a lifelong love of dogs, I have worked in a veterinary surgery and hold a current canine first aid certificate,  I have completed a canine physcology course and I have experience of rehabilitating rescue dogs and helping them to find new homes,I also have a qualification in dog grooming.I am really looking forward to meeting lots of new doggy friends and making their holidays happy and fun.

We are happy to care for your dog for any length of time from half a day to several weeks and we offer reduced rates for dogs staying more than a fortnight or for dogs from the same home who can share a kennel and be walked together.

We admit and discharge dogs seven days a week, by appointment from 7am to 7pm
